VIDEO: The C5 Culture

Miron has created a revolutionary “C5” process that captures the essence of your core values, embraces the unique qualities of the project, and stimulates the innovation that provides a supremely successful project.

We understand the tools, the systems, and the methodologies that are required to capture the innovation of how it could be. This mindset is required of all of our construction partners and becomes critical to each phase of the construction process.

Miron’s five-step process called “C5” brings your vision to reality, and accomplishes your objectives as they relate to image, performance, cost, and schedule. The underlying uniqueness of this process is that we encourage collaboration and integration at all levels. We believe that true project success is the result of great people joining in a common vision and collaborating at every step of the process.

1. CAPTURE your vision for the project and identify opportunities to achieve your dream.  The Kick-Off/Needs Assessment event will consist of several meetings attended by key project players from your team, the Design team and Miron. The purpose of these critical meetings is to establish the project goals, identify operational, production and facility needs, and collectively explore process options and opportunities for the use of the space.

CREATE innovative solutions to achieve your dream.  The space program will be finalized and developed into a complete schematic design package by the Design team using Building Information Modeling (BIM) techniques. The floor plan relationships will be given scale, form and dimension. In addition, during this step the Design team will determine the requirements for HVAC, electrical, plumbing and finishes.

COMMUNICATE creative solutions with our teams for validation.  Based on your approval of the schematic package, the model will be further developed, floor plans will be hardened and MEP design concepts will be developed for your review. This will be done in conjunction with the equipment selections brought forward by you and your team. All of the facility systems are detailed and refined while constantly being analyzed for cost and constructability, as well as integration with the Owner’s equipment and furnishings. It is likely that, during this step, we will work with the Design team to prepare drawings and specifications in a sequence to allow for a “Fast-Track” delivery. This method will allow long lead items and building components to be issued for construction in a sequence that results in significant time savings in the project schedule.

CONSTRUCT a solution that meets your needs and supports your dream.  Construction is the step in which the entire project is implemented, from groundbreaking through occupancy and start-up. Our collaborative process continues through this step. All project participants are involved during construction to ensure your operational and technical objectives are being met. Weekly meetings provide the forum for addressing progress as it relates to construction, cost, and quality of work. Our team will not leave the jobsite until all of your needs are met.

CONFIRM that your expectations have been met—and exceeded.  Moving your existing operation into a new facility is an exciting event marked with optimism. During this step in the process we help you effectively organize the moving and activation process, save time and money, and ensure the success of “start up.” Warranty requirements are performed and continued consultation is provided to ensure the complete success of the project, and to confirm
