Previously, Time Warner Cable’s Kimberly operation housed over 500 employees located in nine separate buildings. The new Appleton facility provides efficiencies and camaraderie among employees as they are all located on one central campus. This project included a 400 seat call center and it’s data center backbone, which is 100% backed up via a 300 kva uninterrupted power service (UPS) and standby 900 kW generator with capabilities to sustain a power outage and keep the entire operation functional for an extended duration. The new building was designed to accommodate higher staffing levels required to support the expected growth with Time Warner Cable’s core products.
