Palermo Villa Inc.
Milwaukee, Wisconsin

This new manufacturing facility and corporate headquarters for Palermo’s Pizza includes: corporate offices, company store, ‘Palermo’s Pizzeria & Café’ with adjacent outdoor courtyard, research and development facilities, and 135,000 s.f. state-of-the-art USDA manufacturing plant with 650-ton ammonia refrigeration plant serving spiral freezers and low-temperature distribution center. The manufacturing plant included installation of 80-ton flour silo, three day bins, a pneumatic feed system with two blowers and miscellaneous conveyors, and food handling equipment. Miron completed all substructure, superstructure, and pre-cast erection for this project.

Inspired by the 16th century ‘Villa Le Volte’ near Siena in the region of Tuscany, the facility is located on a nine-acre site east of Miller Park as part of a new business district being developed on a former rail yard in Milwaukee's Menomonee Valley. The move consolidates Palermo’s offices and plants into one building, providing a more efficient work space for its 270 employees.
